The firepower of the armoured Jääkärijoukkue (Jäger platoon) comes from their three 7.62mm KK PKM general purpose machine-guns, backed up by the Jääkäri’s individual weapons, the 7.62mm RK 62 (a licenced copy of the AK-47) and the APILAS anti-tank rocket. For close range anti-tank self-defence they are also armed with disposable 66 KES 75 (M72 LAW) anti-tank weapons.
