Paper Wars: Issue #110: Red Partisans Magazine & Game
Red Partisans is a two-player (solo-adaptable) game in which the Partisan player must fight German and Hungarian security forces while trying to attack as many targets as possible. The Axis player must defend those targets and launch anti-Partisan drives to destroy as many enemy units as possible. At the end of each turn, players check for the number of regions liberated by the Red Army along the front. Successful Partisan operations generate die-roll modifiers that favor the advance of the conventional Soviet forces. The Partisan player wins by accelerating the Soviet conventional forces’ advance beyond the historical timeline. One 34 22” large-hex map and 176 large (5/8”) counters. Designed by Javier Romero.
