Contains 1 resin and metal 28mm Romanian R2 tank.
Originally built by Czechoslovakia the LT-35 tank is best known for its service in the German Army as the Panzer 35(t). This tank saw service throughout the war and was used by many Axis allied nations including Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania.

The LT-35s in Romanian service were designated the R2 and the first delivery of these tanks was made to Romania prior to German annexation of Czechoslovakia. However many more of these vehicles would be delivered to Romania by Germany as newer more powerful tanks were adopted by the German Army.

The introduction of T-34s were in widespread service in the Soviet Army rendered the R2s obsolete as the main gun was not able to penetrate the frontal armor of a T-34 and many R2s chassis were converted into TACAM R2 tank destroyers in an attempt to provide the Romanian Army with an effective anti-tank platform.

Models come unpainted. Assembly required. Glue, paints, and hobby supplies sold separately.
