Captain N'ghathrod is an illithid pirate who once ate the brains of several shipmates to survive. The remainder of the crew fled into the Caverns of the Ooze that surround the stricken spacefaring pirate ship the Scavenger to survive.

Now the arrival of adventurers provides N'ghathrod with an unexpected but welcome food source.
