Castle Itter recreates the World War Two Battle where Americans, German Wehrmacht, and recently freed French POWs all fought to defend Castle Itter against an attacking force of Waffen-SS in the closing days of World War Two.

This game is for 1-2 players. In the solo variant, the player attempts to defend the castle against the attacking SS forces. In the 2-player competitive variant, one player controls the attacking SS force and the other player controls the defenders.
