Description
The Artesien was built in 1765 as part of a series of 12 ships of the line built to compensate losses endured by the French Royal Navy during the Seven Years' War. The Artésien took part in the American Revolutionary War, departing in 1781. A fine 1/28th scale model of the ship was used to instruct Louis XVI in naval studies and is now on display at the Musee de la Marine.
The ship base, ship card and ship log are printed on two sides - the game data of a second ship is printed on the back. This ship pack can also be used to represent the French Artesien class ship-of-the-line "Roland 1771."
This is not a complete game. You must own a Sails of Glory Starter Set to play.
Designed to be used with the tactical ship-to-ship game system created by Andrea Angiolino and Andrea Mainini, each Sails of Glory Ship Pack is a ready-to-play model, painted and assembled, 100% compatible with any other Sails of Glory game product.
