Imperial Struggle is a 2 player game covering almost a century of the great power rivalry between France and England. Beginning in 1697 with the prelude to the War of Spanish Succession and continuing until the dawn of Revolutionary France. Multiple wars were fought across multiple continents as each side jockeyed for wealth, prestige, colonies and continental allies.

Based on the game play concepts found in Twilight Struggle, Imperial Struggle uses many of the same systems and mechanics to portray events across the entire globe while keeping the game play accessible with an easy to grasp rules system.
