The surcoat did not become universally adopted until the late 13th Century so this gives the set a lot of flexibility.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nHelmet styles include:\n\u003cbr\u003e\nFlat topped Barrel helms,\nConical helmets similar to the Norman style helmets,\nKettle helms.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nEarlier styles can be used together with later styles as equipment would last generations as it was passed from Father to Son.
